These rules apply across the entire HeXHub.net network and on our Discord.
- Be decent. No insults, no bullying, no discrimination.
- Leave other people's stuff alone. No destroying, no looting, no cheating people.
- Play fair. No cheats, no hacks, no exploiting bugs.
- No ad spam. No other server IPs, no unsolicited self-promotion.
- Listen to the team. Questions? Use
/support or Discord.
Stick to these and you'll never run into the rest. Everything below is detail.
- Tone: Be friendly and respectful. Toxic behaviour is not tolerated.
- Scamming: Forbidden in every form — false trade promises, misleading items, deliberate deception.
- Trading: You negotiate prices freely. What's forbidden is deliberate deception, not a high price. If an offer feels off, turn it down.
- Real money: Selling items, coins, plots or accounts for real money is forbidden, in both directions. If something goes wrong, you get neither support nor a refund.
- Team instructions: Follow them. If you think a decision was wrong, don't argue in chat — open a ticket.
- Spam: No repeated messages, no character floods, no constant caps.
- Language: German and English in global chat.
- Advertising: Other server IPs and unrelated links are forbidden, including via
/msg. Creators with the matching rank may promote their own content after arranging it with us.
- Voice chat: Same rules as text chat. No shouting, no music playback, no background noise. Only record other players with their consent.
- Public chat is public: Global chat is mirrored to our Discord. Private messages (
/msg) are not. See the privacy policy for details.
- Forbidden: Extremist, pornographic, racist or violence-glorifying content.
- Where this applies: Chat, voice, skins, capes, builds, item names, signs, books, maps, player names.
- Names: Offensive or misleading player names lead to removal.
Many children and teenagers play on HeXHub. Therefore:
- No private contact requests to players you don't know in real life — no asking for phone numbers, addresses, private social media accounts or meetups.
- No requests for photos or video calls.
- No sharing of private data, neither yours nor anyone else's (doxing).
If someone contacts you this way — in game, in voice or on Discord: Don't reply, block them, and report it immediately via /report or a Discord ticket. Also talk to your parents or an adult you trust. We follow up on every report and treat them confidentially.
Violations of this section lead to a permanent ban without warning.
Applies to the survival and building modes (SMP, SMPV, CB, CBC, DaF, SB, OB, CAV).
- Griefing: Destroying or altering other players' builds is forbidden.
- Raiding: Chests, inventories and farms belonging to others are off limits.
- PvP: Only when both sides explicitly agree.
- TPA traps: Pulling players in via
/tpa or /tpahere to kill them or trap them results in an immediate ban.
- Keep your distance: Don't build right up against someone else's plot or town when there's space elsewhere.
Exceptions: In the minigames (Murder Mystery, BattleBuild) and on SMPHC, the mode's own rules apply. PvP is part of the game there.
Farm world: Resets every 24 hours. Builds and stored items are lost and will not be restored. Don't keep anything there that matters to you.
Forbidden: Hack clients, X-ray (including via resource packs), auto-clickers, macros, reach and aim assists, printer functions, fly and speed mods, player radar.
Allowed: OptiFine, Sodium, Iris, shaders, minimaps without player radar, Fabric and Forge without cheat mods, Badlion and Lunar in their default configuration.
If in doubt, ask first — via /support or Discord. "I didn't know" doesn't count afterwards.
Screenshare: If there's reasonable suspicion of cheating, the team may ask you for a screenshare. Taking part is voluntary, but refusing leads to removal. We only look at what's necessary for the check.
Bug exploiting: You must report server bugs. Exploiting them results in a ban, whether or not any damage was done.
- Lag machines: Deliberately built lag machines result in a permanent ban.
- AFK farming: Allowed, as long as no external tools are involved.
- Redstone: Must be server-friendly. The team may disable or remove demanding builds — where possible after talking to you first.
- Responsibility: You're responsible for everything that happens through your account. Don't share your login details.
- Alt accounts: Not wanted. If you want to use a second account, ask the team first.
- Ban evasion: Evading a ban with another account results in a permanent ban across all accounts. This also applies to accounts provided for the evasion.
- Name changes: Your progress is tied to your account, not your name. Everything stays after a name change.
- Player data is deleted after 24 months without a login.
- Plots and claims may be released after extended inactivity. Let the team know if you're planning a longer break.
A rollback of items or builds is possible if:
- the incident is technically traceable in our logs, and
- you report it within 30 days.
Our logs are deleted automatically after 30 days. After that, restoration is technically impossible — no matter how justified the report would be.
Not restored: Losses from farm world resets, your own carelessness, consensual PvP, or trades you regret afterwards.
So report griefing and bugs immediately.
Decided case by case. The table is a guideline, not a guarantee.
| Level |

For violations of section 4 there's nothing to weigh up: permanent ban without warning, regardless of history or playtime.
Appeals: if you think a sanction was wrong, open a Discord ticket. Describe factually what happened. Appeals made in public chat or by direct message won't be handled.
- Right of admission: We reserve the right to refuse access without stating reasons. There is no entitlement to participate.
- Changes: These rules may be adjusted. The version published here is the one that applies.
- Reporting: Report rule violations via
/report in game or as a Discord ticket.
